Ely Optics is able to provide a full design service, including project management if required. In some circumstances we are able to offer a limited production and test facility. Optical design is conducted using a full version of the Zemax software.

Fees are usually calculated on a project by project base. However in some circumstances we are willing to discuss arrangements for long term contracts or royalty against product production.

Ely Optics is small and hence can be responsive to immediate needs. A full proposal clearly stating costs and timescales is presented against agreed requirements. Regular contact is maintained to ensure that all client project information is accurate and succinct.

Location

Ely Optics has the dual benefit of being physically close to the academic and engineering facilities offered around Cambridge whilst being able to appreciate and enjoy the ‘skyscapes’ and clean airs of the fens. We believe it's an enviable position to have.
